When using the Chrome app for browsing and accessing web, it leads to a huge amount of data being used up by the some of the websites that you visit as a user. For that reason, your mobile’s storage can be consumed through these cached files without knowing the main reason behind it. Fortunately, this can be easily cleared and you can solve this issue as an android user if your mobile is running out of storage!
All you need to do is to follow some steps; you need to launch Chrome and press on the three dots at the top right of the screen, you will find a menu, now you need to tap Settings and Site Settings, then press on Storage, and now you will be able to see all the websites that are running and have been visited on your mobile phone and the storage that each one of them consumes. If you discover a website that consumes a huge amount of data, you can simply press on its name and tap on the blue “Clear & Reset” button.
Google makes sure to remind the user of what will happen after deleting this data by some settings on the site being deleted, for instance, if you are signed in, and you removed it, then you will need to sign in once again. Some of the sites can be slower than the other ones due to its content such as images that will need to load again.
